About NowStacks

We build everyday apps that just work

NowStacks is a product brand for useful, free software — on the web, on Android and soon on the desktop. One family of apps, one standard of quality.

Our story

NowStacks started with a simple idea: the tools people reach for every day — a typing test before an exam, a quick way to merge PDFs, a calculator for a SIP or a game to play with family — should be fast, free and respectful. Our products grew one at a time, each solving a real problem for real users.

As the family grew, we brought everything under one name. NowStacks is the home for all of our existing, ongoing and future products, so people can discover the rest of what we build and know what to expect from anything carrying our name.

Today the family includes 10 products, from TypingMonk, Typing Galaxy and PDF10x on the web to puzzle, family and productivity apps on Android — with our first desktop apps in development.

How we build

Principles behind every NowStacks product

  • Free at the core

The features you came for are free — no trials, no paywalls around the basics.

  • Your data stays yours

Wherever possible, files are processed on your device and apps work offline.

  • Fast and focused

Each product does one job well, loads quickly and gets out of your way.

  • Honest by default

No dark patterns, no fake urgency and no invented numbers in our marketing.

  • Made for everyone

Accessibility, dark mode and multiple languages are part of the plan, not an afterthought.

  • Always improving

We ship regular updates and listen closely to feedback from the people who use our apps.
