These terms apply to the NowSolitaire Android app ("the app"), published by NowStacks (nowstacks.com; "we", "us") and developed by Gemini Digital Solutions. By installing or using the app you agree to them.
1. Using the app
The app is free for personal entertainment. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it on devices you own or control. Do not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app except where the law allows it.
2. Scores, crowns and Vegas scoring
Scores, crowns, streaks and the Vegas balance exist only inside the app. Vegas scoring only shows points as dollar amounts: nothing is wagered, bought or won, they have no money value and cannot be exchanged or withdrawn, and the app has no in-app purchases, betting or gambling. "Winnable" deals were checked by a computer solver; we try hard to keep that promise but do not guarantee that every deal can be won. Statistics and the game in progress are stored only on your device, so they can be lost if you clear the app's data, uninstall the app or change phones without a backup; we cannot restore them.
3. Computer opponents
Computer opponents are programs that play the same deal at a pace and skill you choose. They are always shown as computers, never as people.
4. Playing with friends
Playing with friends on other phones connects them directly over a local network or Bluetooth. You choose the nickname other players see; do not use a name that is offensive, misleading or belongs to someone else. The host's phone keeps the race clock and the standings, and we are not responsible for disputes between players, for connection problems caused by your network, phones or settings, or for anything other players do.
5. Updates
The app checks nowstacks.com for new versions. Occasionally an update may be required to keep using the app, for example to fix a serious problem; the app will tell you when that happens.
6. Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee the app will be error-free.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Agra, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The new version will be published on this page with a new "Last updated" date; continuing to use the app means you accept it.
